Vivendo o jazz na sua plenitude, Billie Holiday e John Coltrane levaram a música para um patamar até então desconhecido na atmosfera da percepção humana. A capacidade destes dois artistas em interpretar notas, melodias e timbres de formas únicas, carregadas de sentimentos, sempre provocou emoções distintas aos ouvidos menos superficiais. Cada um com sua qualidade, ambos deixaram este plano terreno no mesmo dia e mês, mas em anos diferentes. Apesar da parte física não existir mais, o espírito sonoro de Billie Holiday e John Coltrane continuará iluminando nosso corpo e nossa alma.
